About University of the West of Scotland
The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) was formed by the merger of Paisley College and Bell College. It is Scotland’s largest modern university with campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley. With over 18,000 students and her over 2,000 employees, the university offers a wide range of courses from diploma and certificate level to master’s degree programs. The university has seven academic schools.
