About University of the Highlands and Islands
The University of the Highlands and Islands was founded in 1992 and attained full university status in 2011. A partnership of 13 universities and research institutes spread across the Highland Islands, enabling research in locations as diverse as Inverness, Perth, Elgin, Isle of Skye, Fort William, Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles.
The University of Highlands and Islands offers courses in Adventure Tourism Management, Business and Management, Golf Management, Science, Energy and Technology.
