About University of Stirling

The University of Stirling is located in central Scotland and has 14,000 students from over 120 nationalities. Founded in 1967, Stirling’s campus occupies his 18th-century castle on the shores of a lake surrounded by beautiful hills.

Stirling University continues to have several unique elements beyond its location. This is a pioneer of his two-semester structure and modular courses that allow great flexibility when starting and changing courses. Degrees are also organized in modular credits, allowing students to effectively change subjects as their interests change. Over 95% of all students are or remain employed 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020, HESA). Stirling students first named Scottish universities for excellent teachers, quality lecturers and performance feedback (International Student Barometer) 2016).

Internship opportunities are also encouraged. These include ‘getting the most out of your master’s degree’ and university initiatives with Edinburgh and Aberdeen aimed at building links between universities and employers. Many scholarships are also available for international and EU students. Learn more about. Student Money Advisers can help you budget and help you apply for financial aid.
