St Andrews is one of the oldest universities in the western world. It was also the first university in Scotland, founded in 1413. St Andrews is known for its beautiful East Coast setting and high standards of education. It was also here that Britain’s Prince William first met his now-wife (Catherine, Princess of Wales).

The halls of St Andrews are steeped in history. For centuries, this institution has provided students with a great learning experience. Tutors and lecturers are highly qualified and often receive external and internal recognition for their contributions to science/education.

The university offers her over 300 degree programs, and all benefit from a wide variety of useful resources. The library offers students a wide variety of print and digital resources, including the St Andrews Special Collections. Combined with the talent and experience of our academic staff, this means that our students are always fully supported in their studies and have access to the latest information and knowledge. St Andrews ranks among the top 20 in the world for theology, theology, religious studies and philosophy. Currently, about 5,000 international students are enrolled, accounting for about half of all students. St Andrews is named after a small town in County Fife. In this welcoming city, students have many opportunities to make new friends and experience different cultures in a safe environment where natural scenery is not far away. The Student Union provides valuable services to both local and international students, such as application assistance and student counseling, and there are many student organizations and sports clubs to join.
