About University of Salford
The University of Salford has a long history of working with industry and draws on its traditional strengths in nursing, engineering and sports medicine. Founded in its original form in 1850, it gained full university status in 1967. Today, over 20,000 students are enrolled in a 150-acre park on the banks of the River Irwell.
According to the National Student Survey, 83% of Salford graduates are satisfied with their time at the university.
