The University of Oxford is the best university in the world and is located in the beautiful city of Oxford. This internationally renowned university dates back to the late 11th century. Some of the world’s top academics teach and work on research projects here. In 2022, the University of Oxford was named the best university in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 (THE). It has claimed that title for seven consecutive years. Oxford has over 25,000 students. With so many people from all over the world wanting to study here, students need to get the best possible grades to study here. Only 17.5% of applicants get into the University of Oxford.

The University of Oxford has students from over 150 nationalities. Around 30% of Oxford students are international students and there are over 200 scholarships for international students to apply for. Undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford are conducted in four academic groups:
Humanities, Medicine, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences. The university has 30 ‘colleges’ that serve and provide accommodation to student groups. Universities are located all over the city and have everything from places to eat to libraries to on-site laundry. Students can stay at the university for each year of their studies, or between undergraduate and graduate studies.

Oxford has over 100 libraries and the university has the largest library system in the UK. The university has many social and sports facilities for all students and employees.

Oxford University has a large team of advisors who visit over 3,000 students each year. Her job is to help all students throughout their studies and personal lives. Students can seek counsellors of a specific gender or race and all sessions are free and private.

An Oxford degree looks great on a student’s resume. The University of Oxford is one of the top 10 universities in the world for post-graduate employment, making it a great place to study for international students.
