The University of East London (UEL) was founded in 1898 and incorporated as a university in 1992. Currently enrolling 13,500 students from 135 countries, the Docklands and Stratford campuses are located in East London, close to Canary Wharf’s major financial center and the region chosen to host the 2012 Olympic Games. I have. The Docklands Campus was his first new university campus in 50 years in London.

UEL ranks second in the UK for quality of education (Times Higher Education Young University Rankings) and among the top 200 young universities in the world (Times Higher Education Young University Rankings). Academic focuses are architecture and fine arts, civil engineering, cultural and media studies, education, psychology, and sports science. The university is known for its sports and since 2005 has implemented Olympic and Paralympic projects including research, student engagement and sports partnerships.
