About University of Cumbria
The University of Cumbria was formed on 1 August 2007 from the merger of St Martin’s College, the Cumbria College of Art and the Cumbria Campus of the University of Central Lancashire. The university has his six campuses across England, in Carlisle, Newton Rigg, Penrith, Ambleside, Lancaster and London. The university has five departments and offers a variety of flexible and interdisciplinary courses taught by professionals who are not only academics but also experienced professionals. With close relationships with local law firms, police, youth centres, NHS trusts and practicing artists, the knowledge students gain is geared towards securing a job soon after graduation. 97% of Cumbria graduates find employment within six months of graduation. Cumbria was ranked 8th in the world for quality education in the Times Impact Rankings 2020.
