About University of Central Lancashire
The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) was founded in 1992, but its roots go back to 1828. The university has about 40,000 students from over 100 countries and offers about 500 undergraduate and 180 postgraduate programs. The university’s Preston campus currently has four faculties and 33 departments. The campus has been transformed with stunning new world-class buildings and facilities, including the Student Center and University Square, designed to enhance student life and the learning experience. UCLan is ranked in the top 7% of universities worldwide by the Center for World University Rankings 2021-22 and 95.5% of our graduates are employed or continue their studies within six months of graduation. UCLan’s research team collaborates with major international organizations such as the United Nations and NASA.
