About Royal College of Surgeons

The Royal Irish College of Surgeons, also known as the RCSI College of Medicine and Health Sciences, is a specialized medical college in central Dublin. Founded in 1784, it was Ireland’s first private university, serving the country’s surgical sector. Today, it offers a wide range of medical education and includes faculties of Medicine, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy and Nursing.

RCSI provides quality education through its school and faculty structure. Some focus on undergraduate programs, while others focus on postgraduate programs. RCSI’s Faculty of Management is a Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences with five faculties, including the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, the Faculty of Physical Therapy and the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Besides he has two undergraduate units.
Leadership Institute and Centre for Positive Psychology and Health. Other faculties of the institution are the School of Radiology, School of Dentistry, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Sports and Exercise Medicine. The institution is also home to a range of health science research collaborations that bring about ground-breaking breakthroughs in human health.
