About Robert Gordon University

Robert Gordon University (also known as RGU) offers students quality courses with a focus on practical skills and employability. University students will acquire all the skills they need to succeed in the world of work, studying on a stunning riverfront campus with modern and well-designed facilities.

RGU is based in Aberdeen, Scotland. The university’s Garthdie campus in the southwest of the city has many facilities for studying and socializing. Off campus, the city of Aberdeen is one of the UK’s happiest and most affordable cities, with a large student population and plenty of nightlife options. Whether it’s a night out in Aberdeen or a night out at RGU, there’s always something to do at RGU.

Good things can be expected from students enrolled in RGU’s programs. Our faculty are experts in their fields and carefully craft courses that provide learners with cost-effective and superior skills (skills that can be taken into the professional world). Programs often offer an integrated work experience that gives students the opportunity to apply what they have learned during their studies.

RGU recently invested £120 million in its campus. This means tutors have access to the latest and greatest resources. This allows us to offer excellent courses in all departments. With him being named Scottish University of the Year 2021 by The Times Good University Guide, it is clear that Robert Gordon University has a lot to offer students.

A hallmark of RGU is the employability of its graduates. As a top university in Scotland and her third most employable or graduate student in the UK, RGU graduates have excellent career prospects and valuable skills to put to good use. RGU also has strong industry links (many opportunities for students to network and socialize) and excellent careers and employment services (such as the Regional Startup Accelerator program). International students are warmly welcomed at RGU. With 16,000 students representing 153 countries, our campuses are home to a happy and thriving global community. All international students are supported by a dedicated student immigration team and a range of international outreach programs, and most say they feel right at home in Scotland.
